Treadmill Lovin’ : Great interval workout for the treadmill haters at heart.

I get so bored on the treadmill.

About 5 minutes in, I begin coming with all sorts of reason to cut my treadmill time short.

For those days I am feeling a bit ADD or bored, I do this Interval Workout to keep me going and get that sweat session in!

 

(these are speeds that I am comfortable with, choose speeds you are comfortable with but keep it challenging!)

This is a quick interval treadmill workout what gets your heartrate up with 3 different intervals.  It should only take about 25 minutes!

 

Warm Up: 2min @ 4.0 walk

Jog @ 5.5-5.8  2min

Jog @ 6.0  1min

Jog @ 6.5    30 sec

Run @ 7.0   15 seconds

Recover   @4.0 for 2 min

Repeat, go to 2-3% incline

Jog @ 5.5-5.8  2min

Jog @ 6.0  1min

Jog @ 6.5  30 sec

Run @ 7.0 15 seconds

Recover   @4.0, Drop incline to 0%– for 2 min

Last one!

Jog @ 5.5-5.8  3 min

Jog @ 6.0  2 min

Jog @ 6.5  1 min

Run @ 7.0 30 seconds

Recover   @4.0 for 2 min

Walk @ 3.5 for 3min to cool down.
